for our freedom. Make the effort to become informed and then please vote.
The P/T conference schedule is the same as before (unless you have
heard from the office). The middle school conferences have been moved to
Mrs. Almberg’s classroom, room 134. The schedule is posted outside the
office.
We still could use help on Mondays with recess duty at 12:00 until
12:30. We are also looking for lunch duty helpers for Monday—Thursday with
the younger students, especially during recess from 12:00 until 12:20.
Thank you to all who are helping!!!!
Check out www.hsem.state.mn.us for information about safety
tips during the winter season. “Winter Hazard Awareness Week” is November
8—12. Each day different topics such as winter weather, outdoor winter
safety, winter fire safety, indoor air issues and winter safety on the
road will be covered.
Coupon Book Fundraiser
As you’ve probably heard before, even families paying full tuition
only cover 54% of the expenses incurred. Fundraisers help make up the difference.
If we all take part, the burden is lighter. Our goal for this fundraiser
is $11,625. If each family sells the 24 books that are
sent home today we’ll reach that goal! Another option that is available
with every fundraiser is a tax-deductible donation to RCS. For coupon book
sales, each family’s contribution goal is $168.
Thank you, Richel & Brian Wiess, Susan & Bill Ritchie, Julie
& Mike Dietrich
“Unforkettable Art”
Parents, be sure to vote for your favorite fork at the voting booth
by the front entry when you come for conferences. The 6th graders are taking
a poll and will be calculating the results. They will let you know which
fork is the most popular!

Would anyone like to volunteer to coach basketball or soccer for our
students? There is another area Christian school that would like to compete
with our students very informally. Are any students in grades 3-6 interested?
Let Mrs. Hellekson know. jane.rcs@midconetwork.com or 773-1770 ext. 11.
Have you checked your smoke detectors yet? Have you let Mrs. Hellekson
