What is the mission
statement of Riverside Christian School?
The mission of Riverside
Christian School is to assist families in providing a Christ-centered, Bible-based education that will inspire students to
pursue academic excellence and to mature spiritually, physically and socially.
Do we
assist families on a daily basis? Certainly! We are here to listen, pray, and provide support every day.
Do we have academic excellence? Yes, test scores prove it and Riverside
has provided the groundwork for many eighth grade graduates to become honor students and even valedictorians in large high
schools.
Do we provide an environment for our students to mature spiritually?
Absolutely! Christian teachers teach Bible classes daily. In addition, Pastors from many local churches volunteer to provide
a weekly chapel for our students. Students pray in class daily and develop a Biblical world view.
Do we promote opportunities for development of physical skills? Most definitely! Physical education
classes help students improve coordination, develop discipline, strengthen concentration, practice team building, and learn
to be healthy.
Do our students have opportunities to develop socially?
Unquestionably, we provide a nurturing and caring environment for our students. We have testimonies of students who have overcome
academic and personal obstacles after enrolling at Riverside.
